Reserve Bank of India has increased the cash withdrawal limit from ATM’s. Upto now per day the limit was Rs. 2500.
On Friday night RBI has taken a decision by increasing the limit upto Rs.4500. This decision would come into effect from January 1. However, there is no change in the weekly withdrawal limits, which stays at Rs 24,000. December 30th was the last day of the 50 day to deposit demonetised notes in banks. From Monday people can exchange in RBI by showing the correct reason for pocessing old big notes upto March 30th.
