How to Prepare Pepper Rasam
This is very famous in Rayalaseema Region of Andhra Pradesh. It helps for easy digestion. It is advised to eat with rice or even drink this rasam after having heavy lunch or dinner. The ingredients needed for this rasam are tamarind 50 grams, musturd seeds, black gram and chana dal half table spoon each. dry chillies 6, pepper and jeera powder two table spoons, one tomato, garlic 6 leaves, curry leaves two stems, coriander leaves five stems, salt as per the taste and one and a half table spoon of oil. Preparation of rasam First soak tamarind for 20 minutes and squeez the juice and add half litre of water and remove the waste material and keep it a side. Then keep the pan on the stove and pour oil in the pan. After it gets heated for few seconds then add musturd seeds, black gram and chana dal. Later put the dry chillies, then add pepper and jeera powder along with crushed garlic. Then add curry leaves and tomato. After this pour tamarind juice and add salt according to your taste. After it gets boiled well at last garnish this rasam with coriander leaves. That’s it tasty tasty rasam is ready.
